Tonight is Game 1 in the Vancouver / Boston Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Can you say excitement?
Hockey fever has gripped the nation. I will be wearing my two Canucks t-shirts, alternately, from today through until the Canucks win. It’s a good thing navy blue goes with just about everything.
There’s a lot of pooh-poohing going on in the sporting world about Vancouver’s chances in this series. Crap like: San Jose wasn’t at their best, Chicago was hurting, the Canucks are a ‘corporate’ team, they don’t have the heart, the Sedin’s aren’t tough enough, and on and on and on.
To all of that I say: Ha! They’re in the finals, so shut your big fat yaps!
