Day 11 — They offered me the job!  I would be assisting an Occupational Therapist working with young children — pre-kindergarten age.  Very, very different from what I’ve been doing for the past 10 years.  But change is good, right?

I find change tough — but I’m looking forward to something new.

Congratulations, Kath. I hope you find huge rewards within this new position. Yes, it really is good to change – for all involved, actually. My old dad – who helped plough those roads through to the oil patch around you – used to say that we all need to change our jobs every two years. I used to think he was being facetious, but now I agree with him.

P.S. I loved your photos of the snow on the rafters. I have such a thing for lines, angles and simple beauty!

Hi Amy, thanks for the kind words. I’ve been finding it a bit of a struggle this year at work, so hopefully, this will be the end of that. Possibly the beginning of a different struggle, but at least I’ll be keepin’ the old brain cells firing!

I just posted some new pictures of the ever changing art show at my front door. Glad you enjoyed them.
