February 4th

Day 35 —  My second last day at my ‘old’ job.  Tonight I baked cookies to take in for the kids — much as they’ve been a handful I’m going to miss them.  They really are a good bunch.  Tomorrow’s going to be rough, but it’s onward and upward with an open mind and a joyful heart.

February 3rd

Day 34 — A nice quiet day.  The boys went home around 11 o’clock.  We played more UNO and a couple of games of Snakes and Ladders.  It was nice just having them by themselves.  Had a nice phone call with a good friend; am so grateful she and her husband are okay. Life, you just don’t know which way it’s going to turn.

February 2nd

Day 33 — Saturday.  It snowed, but not too much.  Ran a few errands in town then headed home to get supper ready for my grandsons Timothy and Ethan.  They were coming for a sleepover.  We had fun playing UNO and watched The Lorax.  I don’t think Dr. Seuss would have approved of this adaptation of his book.
