February 10th

Day 41 — Tim and I ran away today.  Drove to Red Deer for the drive and some lunch.  Spent a little time and money at the Jackpot Casino — didn’t win big, didn’t lose much — but, we had fun.  Nice to just sit in a car and enjoy the scenery and talk.  We don’t get many days like that.

February 9th

Day 40 — Got into a bit of a cleaning frenzy today.  Bedroom is dust-free!  Bathroom scrubbed and shower curtains changed.  Dusted!! OMG!  Nice thing — lunch with my brother Shawn (and Scott and Michelle, too.)  But hadn’t seen Shawn in quite a while, so, it was nice to visit with him.
